I have found 4 cigar shops in Edinburgh.
1. Jeffrey St. Whisky&Tobacco
12-14 Jeffrey St.
Old Town
Edinburgh
EH1 1DT
website: http://whiskyandtobacco.com/ (site under construction I was told that it will start working after new year)
Comment:
I think it is new shop, I don't visit town to often, so I am not sure when they opened, but they seem to be fresh in this business. But very enthusiastic and helpful staff. Choice is nice, but sill could be improved. They had few very nice New World cigars. I bought there my first NUB Maduro cigar there.
2.
Robert Graham
194 Rose Street
Edinburgh
EH2 4AZ
website: http://www.whisky-cigars.co.uk
Comment: Very nice service, but it lacks something. I think they have biggest walk in humidor in Edinburgh. They had only 2 cigars from my 5 cigar list. So there are differences between what they have in stock and in store.
3.
Robert Graham
254 Cannongate
Edinburgh
EH8 8AA
website: http://www.whisky-cigars.co.uk
Comment:
They never had in store what I was looking for. I checked website, but they never had it in store, and even didn't know that they should have it. But staff is very helpful. There are differences between stock in both shops, so they can always phone other shop and check availability.
4.
The Pipe Shop Edinburgh
92 Leith Walk
Edinburgh
EH6 5HB
website: http://www.thepipeshop.co.uk/
Comment:
Not too professional staff, they don't know much about cigars. I have read complaints about this shop, but I have never expirenced any issues myself. Website is useless, they have different cigars in stock than on website, and you can buy only boxes via website.
Great is that Robert Graham and Jeffrey St. is almost opposite to each other. So if you are looking for something specific you can always check in both places at the same time.
