Wife is a Bond fan, I am not of Craig but would be interested to hear a rating out of 5* if it's grim I'll let he go with our daughter & I'll go fishing!
Good to see you might let your daughter go out with Bond, many Dads wouldn't.

I think some of the best Bonds have been Craig’s movies. I just hope they never go back in the cheese direction.
Casino Royale is my fave Bond film, written by Paul Haggis, who wrote Crash and Million Dollar Baby, so got the balance of drama, comedy and action just right.
It's a solid film. The expected action sequences are well executed. Two very strong female characters. Script is good. Score is lush - Zimmer is very much channelling Barry. However, the baddie was a bit meh and the ending was very bold.
OK, I'm out on a limb but I get used to that.
Bond. Rubbish from start to finish. Daniel C is the most expressionaless actor I have ever seen apart from Darth Vader (the character).
Action scenes fast and furious but woefully underdeveloped and thus rubbish. Strong female roles? Well, hardly. Have you seen Mary Elizabeth Winstead in action? Thats a strong female. Or Emma Thompson? Or Lilly James?
I find the way Craig, a man who is 53 but looks 60, ends up in bed with 23 year olds a bit creepy. Imagine your daughter fresh out of university saying she's living with a bloke older than her dad! Yugh. Also quite unbelieveable...what do they do between killing baddies...swap "insta" stories?
I wont deconstruct this garbage as it would be unfair to those yet to see it...but garbage it is.

Well di dsee the movie, wife & daughter enjoyed it, me - not so much. Have to agree with much of Puff of Wind's critic but agree with Pandora, bold ending.
Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

Sorry, all you Bondfans...
🤣🤣🤣 Yeah I’d kill the fucker if it was my 25 yr old daughter 😎
Went Sunday to see bond, 4/10 at best. Non existent storyline, set piece chase me and a load of sentimental fluff to fill the time. Disappointed and dissatisfied
A couple of weeks on and I can't say as I really remember the film. The score was the best part of it, but maybe that's because I'm a music geek.
Anyway, back out for a double bill of sequels today. Halloween Kills and Venom: Let there be Carnage. Seen their predecessors very recently and love them so it will be interesting to see if these hold up 🤞🏻

Be interested to know what you think of the latest Venom film
Just saw Venom 1 and it was quite fun, esp once it got going and the Venom character was interacting with Tom Hardy... or should I say the next Bond... this thread all ties in together... unless timely Rege fresh off Bridgerton gets the part.
