I'm on a slow train to York this morning and am soaking up something from Amazon Prime; The Havana .
It claims to be made in 2007 in the blurb on Amazon... but it features JJ Fox in St James before it was acquired, and was therefore under the badge of Robert Lewis. This puts it as pre-1992... its fair to say that its not a new work... very much 'of an age' but interesting enough so far. Lots of unbanded cabs.... lovely stuff!
"Dear heart, you're talking to a man- a real man- who drinks straight Tequilla, with lime and salt on the rim, and smokes cigars" (J Zavala)
If this is the latest one then yes I've heard food things from members of my generation.people of 50 or over say it's good.
Young folk I've spoken too are cooler about it. I want to see it
It?s a decent watch fairly satisfying conclusion but a fair few major plot holes and the whole ghost thing was just annoying (that shouldn?t be a spoiler but will make sense if you?ve seen). Mandalorian was the only thing made since the originals to come close imo
It was surprisingly dark, which is what Star Wars does best imo. I liked it as much as Rogue one which I thought was excellent
I really enjoyed Rogue One - haven't seen Episode 9 yet, but I'll approach it with an open mind and expect nothing less than a couple of hours of Star Wars-themed escapism.

I try, but I'm perpetually disappointed. I couldn't finish solo
I really enjoyed Solo but I really like Don Glover, as a stand alone film it was a great switch off and just enjoy couple of hours! Probably one of my favourites of the newer films
I thought episode 9 was the best of the 3 newest Star Wars films but still not as good as the original trilogy or Rogue One. Solo was not bad. I'd really like to see The Mandalorian.
