I converted an old Chuch into a theatre at Sandgate barracks about five years ago it was built by Italian prisoners of war and you could see the marks in the walls where messerschmitts had strafed the building . Farmers locally still drag up bullets from the plane's locally

Managed to plough through both Taken 3 and The Equaliser on the big (medium) screen tonight,
"Taken 3" was about as good as a taken film where nobody really gets taken could be expected to be, t least I enjoyed it! Neeson continues to OWN that role.
...The Equaliser was saved only by Denzel. It's scary how good that mans 1,000yd stare is. I do think the film could've been a lot better if it wasn't for what basically amounts to a shootout in Home Depot/B&Q/The Workbench. But it certainly wasn't bad.

John Wick seemed to be 2 hours of graphic close ups of people being shot in the face

True, John Wick was a considerably inferior movie IMO, but these types of action movies actually help me to relax before getting some sleep... Much more so than comedies or romances.David
