Watched Noah, what a spectacularly missed opportunity. It was so wierd at the start I was sucked in then it just sort of fizzled out. I'm not really the target audience but I'm disappointed in Aaronofsky.

Aaronofsky puts out visually impressive films (though he recycles a few techniques over and over.)
But I'm generally not interested in the story.

Okay so not a movie but just finished watching series 1 of Constantine and it was pretty good. It is definitely truer to the books than the film was. Oops, make that the first 8 episodes, just discovered that there's five more to come!

Also saw Fury the other night that film is brilliant, very dark and gritty and more anti war than I was expecting from the americans, you need to watch it

+1 to Stonehearst Asylum, it comes out here in May under the title 'Eliza Graves', I think I gave it 8/10 on IMDB

Checked IMDB and noticed it said the name of the short story it was based on. That's the ending of that one ruined for me

Right guys this thread needs some more work. Either were not suggesting enough films or I watch too many as after reading all the way thru again the only 2 films I fancy and haven't seen is Maze Runner and Sharknado.......

I interpretted that as: "Bring shame upon the main actor's faeces." English is funny sometimes.

Anyway. I've been watching "The Strain" for the past little bit. Nice series but every single character seems to be too grounded to real life. Aside from a few plot holes, this is a very good series. Unlike the Walking Dead which has fckn 34 season and 50 seasons of filler.

anyway I have been giving Haven a go. Its some sort of cross between a crappy soap and x files. I have given it a good few episodes and going to give up. If anyone has continued watching and it gets better let me know. Going to give the film The Judge a go instead
