Over the last two days I have watched two gangster moves back to back, Legend and Black Mass. The first about the Krays and the second about Boston crime lord Whitey Bulger.

Legend fell into the usual trap of romanticising the Krays and at times I thought Tom Hardy's portrayal of Ronnie Kray bordered on a caricature, I gave up on it after an hour.

Black Mass was more honest and if you ever doubted Johnny Depp could act then watch this. Yes they showed that Bulger was human but you never doubted he was a dangerous psychopath and this was worth watching until the end.

Peejay could not get in to black mass it seemed a bit slow for me,but it showed a different side to
Johnny depp acting.

Watched legend , bored me to tears tbh I was like a nodding dog (again) , just finished the book black mass like johnny Depp look forward to seeing it . But this week watched terminator Genesis not bad and watched creed which I did enjoy surprisingly . On sky recently watched Selma and woman in gold both good movies

Watched 2 movies today on flight to Dubai and really enjoyed both of them - 'Legend' & 'The Walk'.

just watched Predestination .... makes for a great watch. not the best acting you will ever see, ethan hawke plays his character the way he plays in almost every movie! but its got twist upon twist ... certainly worth a look see.

Watched black mass myself recently quite enjoyed it, thought Depp was brilliant in it. One I can recommend is the big short, great cast and really interesting film.

Went to see The Revenant last night. A difficult & challenging film to watch. Loved it.

I decided to revisit my foreign cinema collection tonight. I started collecting some foreign movies a few years ago when I was
collecting rare, limited edition DVD's. There are some fantastic movies out there if you can handle subtitles.

Tonight I watched a Korean film called Taegukgi. This is simply an awesome piece of foreign cinema which more than matches
Saving Private Ryan if war films are your thing. Give it a go if you come across it.

finally got round to watching Legend... was a good watch, felt like something was missing, I think the original one was better..but still a good watch..Hardy was great though!!

I havn't seen this myself yet but heard the same myself Alot of friends said the kemp bros played it better. Think i need to watch it

Watched Sabotage last night. Watchable, but certainly not one of Arnie's finer moments.
