Watched War horse last night, wasn't bad to be fair, the war side of the film was horrible, really feel for those young man.

Sorry in advance for the inappropriateness of this question. What you have said set of a not quite complete memory and I cant think who said (Whilst probably dressed up in a sketch show) I was in the great war. I fought for young men like you............didn't get one though!
So far so good but didn't realise it was 3 hours long. Just about given up on new films so working my way through old ones I haven't seen. And some I have just because they were so good first time round
Just watched "Cats Eye" a film form a collection of Stephen king short stories. Really old but not bad. Quite light hearted. Mostly, it is Stephen king after all. The first one about Quitter Inc. that gets people to stop smoking is well worth watching if anyone has had to go through the rigmarole of trying to stop smoking.
MLW had an early night last night so I watched another WW2 classic 'Bridge at Remagen'. Not bad but a bit slow at times and nearly two hours long. It was nice to see a proper portrayal of an armoured recon unit (I'm so sad) and I never realised George Segal gurned so much. It did inspire me to order 'Patton lust for glory' from Zoverstocks for 10p for my next wartime excursion.
