Work with a heap of Polish and they are complaining to me there is too many Polish in Aberdeen now and it makes it harder to get a decent wage. My reply? Nah mate what you mean is there's too many Scots!

Nope, I can smoke on the rig, I just can't have alcohol with a the cigar & I have to share the smoke room with fag smokers stinking the place out. So I usually chose not to smoke offshore, even though I do have a very good supply with me. I am still recovering from my man 'flu, which is now travelled to my sinuses & despite 3/7 of Antibiotics so far, it's putting up a good resistance. I won't bother smoking no until next week, when we visit Daughter Dearest down in Bournemouth. If it's not too Baltic I expect I'll manage a couple of short smokes down there. So I'll sign off now, the chopper should be on deck at 08:00 & once I am at Aberdeen airport I'll figure out the cheapest way to get home by Fri Night. Have great smoky weekend yourselves & I'll be watching you...
