Yup - We live on the border of FOUR counties - for two years, not one single fucker wanted to take responsibility for anything.

That's one of the reasons why I do all the fundraising I do - to try and release Beatrice from the geographical trap we're in.
It generally means if she needs something urgently, or something that the NHS won't provide, as they say it's not appropriate (like her powered chair ffs) - Then we can go and source it ourselves...

I really feel for you both, going through that shite, it seems luck of the draw at times. My parents are both seriously in need of help due to ill health (bronchiectasis for one and alzheimer's the other), when I approached Leicester Social Care they bent over backwards to help, it really surprised me as I was ready for a long struggle.

I hope once you've moved Sean that things pick up for you, and GH, I hope that was just an one off cockwomble who you won't have to deal with again.
