    "Tapestry stitches" and "No love loss" are quality tracks mate, slightly dark undertones lyrically and musically and the guitar work is sublime, I really like the violin accompaniment to Tapestry stitches, the third time I have listened to that track and it just gets better and better.
    Brilliant.

    I could be wide of the mark mate but I feel theres a strong classical/continental/latin flavour in your guitar work and combined with her distintive and very sexual/feline voice makes for an extremely hypnotic listening experience.

    Afterthought;

    If you chaps have not listened to them yet and you like your music to veer a tad off the beaten track, try this.
    I think I have said this before, but she does remind me musically of a female Tom Waits/Nick Cave and I mean that in a good way.

      Yes I listened to it as well, not my normal area of listening but very good and I would listen again.

        The trouble with me Mark is that I like to many genres and styles, if you looked at my music collection there is a good chance you would become giddy from all the confusion.
        I range from classical and folk all the way through to trip hop and experimental.

        As long as its not in the present day charts, theres a chance I might like it !

          yeah she's often described as a female tom waits, and both waits and cave are a massive influence. huge huge waits fan.

          we do a cover of another man's vine that we want to get down on record

          got a great response from gig last night in paris, had a good response from europe on a whole.

          mixing one more tonight then it'll all be done

            I liked the last ones, Lasc, and will give these new tracks a listen in about ten days when my mind is unfelched and I am a free agent for a while. Too much bollocks spinning around at present to be able to appreciate the tracks.

              I live just south of EDI. When are you playing? I work in Dublin during the week so if you're on at the weekend, I'd like to come and see you!

                      Deepest of dark, I like the way you drop the rythem back in on 2 min and 4 min and last minute and half after " waits in the back, weapons are shiney "
                      Im diggin it.
                      I got to say though, I love Tapestry stitches, I cant even explain how much that tune has crept into my head, classico.
