I'll say this again though, what's the point of bringing out laws that can't be enforced.'Cigars are a hobby, cigarettes an addiction'

?10.000 fine? Never happen. Texting on the phone ?100 I believe, might result in an immediate accident affecting life & limb; smoking in the car with kids (& maybe with a window open) is unpleasent (I used to hate my mother doing it) which apart from unpleasent might not have any ill effects fine ?10,00 which would bankcrupt most offenders. Get real. Fine for not having a National fishing licence ?2,000+ fines for serious sh*t peanuts. In the RN they used to base the fine on your rate of pay so every fine was he same ie 5 pays pay hurt the higher ups as much as the juniors. Shame the law can't work in a similar manner. And an amusing incident where one of my guys got drunk and decided to play war games, chucked a can of lager into the Ops Room in the Falklands, pretending it was a grenade, went on the run, got caught, arrested, RAF Police left the window open, he escaped, etc. We had a laugh trying that one.
