My son is realy into golf in portugal at the moment with 12 others gone on a weeks golf holiday
myself can't hit a ball to save my life more of a scuffer
I'm the same, it's the only sport I've played whereby the harder you try the shitter you get, it's bloody infuriating.
The problem is most people will hit one shot a round that makes you think you could be a half decent player, which inevitably leads to you shanking the next one into the rough [emoji21]
Its not a sport, its a game like snooker or darts.
Having come from a background of football, rugby, fell running, cycling & triathlons I always thought the same.
Having wrecked my knee I gave golf a try and ached for 3 days after my first round.
The top golfers nowadays are athletes, maybe not aerobic ally, but in terms of strength, power & the ability to repeat the same move consistently, with power, for more than 4 hours per round you can't take that away from them.
