Yeah, I used some expanding foam at the back to stop the invasion brambles and spiders where the ridges of the roof rest on the walls. It should insulate better as well as block all that lot from getting in

I saw an episode of Grand Designs where they actually sprayed foam insulation onto a wall, looked pretty good.
