It probably carries more weight! It was a friend of mine who designed those stickers and all proceeds used to go to Baby Life Support Systems (BLISS)

I got given a badge off an old traffic sweat when I passed my advanced course a few years back. Along with the lecture about how the courses had got easier over the years lol

Yeah the UK have never been the best at publishing things. Does anyone else remember when they scrapped the the 999 emergency number and tried to get everyone to use 112 which is the actual emergency number now. Nope . Well thats how good a job they done of something important so not surprised this has went the same. The person I feel sorry for is the call centre operatives that have to put up with the phones calls saying they have not got there tax disc yet

When did they scrap 999? I've been an emergency call handler since 2007 and its always been 999 although 112 and 911 work as well. You're not confusing it with the 101 non-emergency number are you?

Early or pre 2000. It's a EU directive that forced every country to have a standardised number 112 though they were allowed to keep the previous one 112 is actually the emergency number.
