Lol, Talisker is by far my favourite whisky in that end of the spectrum. Try Springbank for a much more tones down and delicate dram with little hints in it.

I've just had a bottle of Auchentoshan Three Wood and a Remy Martin Coeur de Cognac delivered, can't wait to open them both.

I'm drinking this Sainsbury's own XO today. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1408978416.061091.jpgits really good actually, quite sweet which makes me wonder if it has sugar in it but it says its a 7yr aged cognac. I have some nice Remy too but I haven't opened it yet, even at tax free price it was ?100.
A little look at the company tommy and looks to be the bottles have to be between 1898 and 1922. They look hookey to me though but I am not a expert on gin
Really, what source mate? I took a butchers and they seem to have established in 1805 but in 1922 moved to Deptford and moved into whiskey. In any event it's now gone way too rich for me. Could be dodgy but I was willing to take a punt up to a point.

Wiki entry they set up as a company and not privatley owned in 1898 hence the company on the label and moved distillery in 1922 so no longer Westminster. but still produced gin till the 70's
