Let me know what the balm is like dude.....was tempted by both, but if I'm honest wasn't sure if it was needed.

Have yet to try balm, but I am recent convert of the oil, and I must it is great! Really softens the hair and moisturises the skin underneath too.

Personally I prefer balm but I think the decision largely depends on the type of beard you have. Balm has the advantage of restraining those wilful hairs.

I want to try the balm, but I assume, probably wrongly that it will be like hair wax; and that feeling on my face would be horrible.

No, you can't feel it unless you went overboard and applied a lot. It actually makes the beard softer, very much unlike hair wax.

Mmmmm might have to get some. Is it OK to use both?

Yes, the results are a little different in that the balm is thinned a little. I tend not to use both unless I'm going for an OTT pre-sleep conditioning session.

Sounds like I need to try balm. I make my own beard oil from time to time but I also have some of the 'Botanist' beard oil.

I suggested a grooming forum a year or two back, but it didn't progress. Beards would certainly fit in there I'll enquire👍😀
