I can barely write as it is, not in a legible manner anyway. Closer to a spider running across a page with ink on it's feet! [emoji20]

For anyone who uses a BIC..... Please do yourself a favour and go and get any of these for less than a couple quid each: Pilot G2, Zebra Sarasa or Uniball Signo.

If your going to use a pen it might as well be a nice experience.

Yes but can you spring a D lock with their lids? Check it out on Youtube.

I don't do half as much writing as I use to but I do still like to find a nice pen to write with. As been mentioned a well weighted one. I do like a bit of resistance though, helps keep it neater. I'd write in pencil for everything if I had the choice

In fairness, I write with a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck Homaga a Chopin, it's a bit smaller and less expensive than the 149 but it looks smart and writes very nicely for me. (The model may be called the Classique now)

Treated myself a couple of years ago and I use it almost daily at work, always nice to pull out a good pen when the situation requires

I'd missed your humour Peejay, couldn't resist any longer! Had a fairly manic couple of months at work, minds been on other things I'm afraid. Hope everyone's well!

The thread has made me dig out my pens - after moving they've been boxed up for a month or so...

Here are my Waterman Perspective pens which I have at home (one fountain, one rollerball). Very tempted to get one with the Azure finish having spent last night looking at pens (thanks VTG! )

Also have a cheaper Diplomat something-or-other fountain pen at the office. Along with a selection of disposable rollerballs - I really don't like using ballpoints, unfortunately a necessary evil (scribbling notes on glossy brochures etc).

Now to be fair I only use the BICs because I don't snap them in half by accident as often as most disposables, can't abide click pens and they're cheap enough that I don't mind if they get nicked.

                          Try a Pilot Hi-Tec then.

They aren't great on the sample pots and tubes, smudge too easily. Seriously, those things are ridiculous. I'm sure they're designed for shitty pens.
