I'm split on Seamaster and Speedmaster.... I always wanted an Omega for my 30th but I couldn't afford one.
I have always wanted a Brietling Navitimer for my Wedding.... Probably won't afford one.
and an IWC Portuguese when I retire..... Probably die before then. Haha
Not doing too well on the watch front. Actually that's not true at all, I do have a nice Longines I was gifted by a family friend though.Licky Licky before Sticky Sticky. - Puff Scotty 22/03/14

Have you thought about the used market?
Plenty of deals to be had.

Anyway I'm going on, what I'm saying is that you have great taste. I now love the chronograph version of the Portuguese with a mesh bracelet. It's beautiful.
I have photos of most of the watches I traded, well at least the ones I kept for a few weeks to wear.

I intended to trade again, after enjoying it for a while, for the IWC Portuguese but I got a bit self conscious wearing such an expensive watch both from a safety point of view and I literally felt that it was ridiculous that I was wearing ?7k while we don't even own our home. So I came pretty close to my goal of the IWC but decided to use the cash for more sensible things. Mrs Tommy has to buy me one for a special occasion now!

I knew then that it was one of my life's aims to own such a beautiful watch. I don't think for a second that I will ever come close, but we can dream.Licky Licky before Sticky Sticky. - Puff Scotty 22/03/14

All things come to those who wait you know , I've done the kids bit (4 bloody times I might add) house buying etc.... You have to get the priorities right , sadly though I don't really envy those of you starting from scratch , too much shit to eat your money up nowadays and house prices and deposits are ridiculous
