Tooth out - how long til I can smoke?

I have the joy of having a tooth removed today - I'm aware that means that I can't smoke, but am wondering how long is prudent?
Don't drink, don't smoke, what do you do..........

I've texted my wife who's a dental nurse but she's at the hairdresser so someone might beat me to it

Minimum of 3-4 days. 7 if you can hold out that long.

I think PJs wife is a dentist so PJ is the man to ask, then again i could be wrong. I think its till the socket heals over.
