If you like Paramore check out the new Flyleaf album. Since Lacey Sturm left and they got a new singer they have moved direction slightly musically more towards Paramore's style

I think that's the only time I have heard anyone suggest Paramore are musical and have direction. (if I read your post correctly.)
To my ears its a jumble of instruments and Hayley Williams scrawking over the top............ Mind, she could scrawk at me any day!
Edit: One of the most naturally gorgeous women on the earth..... Surely?

Ok not actually listening to this atm. Its for Butters and will help make sense of another thread.
Possibly the only time a film has been made based on a song?
The song was then remade for the film and this is
Also how do you make it come up with the picture of what its going to play?
EDIT:Got it thanks!Last edited by Wigan; 16-11-2014, 08:07 PM.

Quite a few of your videos have been deleted from youtube butters
This one is still on. Listened to the first hour and half yesterday when I got in from work.
Not a clue what it was about but found it quite pleasant

Anyway, I believe the other albums I posted (which you must set aside an hour for) are:
King Crimson - Court of the Crimson King
Styx - The Grand Illusion
The Travelling Wilburies - Vol. 1Originally posted by ValeTudoGuyMarc's a Fat Molly

Will do although I am so ignorant I had no idea I was listening to a wagner opera lol.
You think they stole the name Tannhaeuser from this opera for the line towards the end of Bladerunnner?

Looks like King Crimson is no longer available on Youtube. Silly. Here's an alternate version:

Bladerunner - based on the Philip k. Dick book Do Androids Dream of Electronic Sheep?
Was going to right you a brief description but don't want to ruin it one bit. Sci-fi with a fair bit of philosophy thrown in (and possibly theology depending on how you look at it). An action film and a make you think film in one. Visually stunning and considered by most to be a masterpiece. I am going to try and do the quote without checking so here goes.
I have seen things you people wouldn't believe. Starships on fire of the shoulder of Orion, C-beams glistening in the dark at the Tanhasuer gate. All these moments will be lost like tears in the rain. Time to die.
Just watch it butters its ace!

Rush. A great little Canadian trio. Bassist sings (or screeches).
I always thought their popularity over here was due to the fact that Canadian radio stations have to play 35% Canadian music. And that only Canadians listened to them as they're passed down a generation. But i learned the other day that many other people in other countries love Rush too.
I then learned that they're not just regular radio rock mixed with Styx. They're actually very, very hard to work out and follow on bass. He can sing and play VERY well. But the human mind has never been able to multitask. And when he plays his solos or accompaniments without singing, man are they beautiful.
Red Barchetta is probably my favourite track from my favourite album from them.
My only regret is not acknowledging this earlier. Missed out on their 'Moving Pictures' tour where they played this entire album live. 80 dollars for a surreal experience and damn i missed it.
Before cigars, music concerts were my hobby. Should get back into that, now...........
Anyways, if anyone has 40 minutes to spare, sit down with a glass of your chosen liquor and just admire this album.
Excellent. Did enjoy
For some reason on this touchscreen pad thingy I have when listening to youtube I have to stay in that window or it stops but with your post it carries on playing whilst I browse the forum. Chuffed!
