I've got a very strange and varied taste in music. In the car I've currently got a random selection of old '92-'96 rave tapes on a usb stick and The Rat Pack's 100 greatest hits in the CD player.

Yeah Petrucci and Mike Portnoy (drummer) are very talented individuals really like the drumming as well.

My personal favourite fret wanker is probably Paul Gilbert, that man can play

Paul Gilbert is brilliant, his video lessons are great too. His classes on Natural Harmonics and Pentatonic Scales are mindblowing.

Yeah I've watched the pentatonic scale one and just sat there mind blown!

Went watching him live in Manchester a few years ago now and that was fantastic!

Listened to a bit of Vai found him good and a bit of Satriana but never got caught by both. I'm not that big a fan of fret wankers but Gilbert and his unusual techniques really captures me
