Picking up my new truck today

Hey guys
I've finally made the leap and set up my own business, which will finally validate my theory that I am the most important person in the company (as im now the CEO! also chief accountant,HR officer.cook and bottle washer and frankly the entire labour force).
So now I find myself making a 7 hour train journey to Largs in order to collect my new company vehicle. Planning on driving it home tonight with an Alec Bradley black market to celebrate (and help keep me awake)

Not so much forgot the plug as not wanting it to seem like that was the reason I posted.
I'm a Tree surgion or climbing arborist if you prefer. The idea is some of the work will be totally my jobs and the rest I'll sub contract climb for other tree teams.
Largs is about an hour from Glasgow I'm told, driving back to my home in the fens.
and thanks Dave it's nerve wracking leaving guaranteed money but I'm also loving having control over my life, and if I'm really lucky I'll not have to put up with 'because that's how we've always done it' ever again

Do you sell said wood? It makes wonderful pen's, catapults..... and perhaps Pipes if i pull my finger out.

I'm always on the lookout for nice bits of Fruit/Nut wood, well any nice bits of hardwood really.... especially Burls.

I'm in the planning stage of a large smoker... for Sausage, Cheese, Fish, Hams and Jerky

Most of the thorn I have is much bigger than walking stick size as its destined for firewood (mine to be exact).
The yew is bigger than longbow. And actually good coaster size
