i was bored of the whole concept..... kinda like: now that Harry Potter's audience has grown up, let's place this upon them because it's like a more violent sort of it.
All within the same realm of fantasy, evil, life, etc.........

The world he has created is wonderful, many of the characters he has created have great potential. Sadly he seems to think he can just kill them off before you become invested in them and replace them in you sphere of interest with someone he recently introduced.

Harry Potter was just shit.

Edit: Perhaps it's for the best he kills many of them off because when he does keep an interesting character around (Daenerys) he wraps them up so much that they start to become stale and unable to affect what is actually interesting for them to affect.

I used to love Metallica.... then they had Napster shut down...

I think that should read I used to love Metallica until they started releasing absolute shite..... Black album and before they were gods....recent years I've rarely met a fan who likes anything. A very good example of quit while your on top.

All of Floyd, the Grand Illusion, Physical Graffiti, etc

Thats going to be a problem with reading it full stop.... Because he's a predictable writer... A character with morals? Degrade them and kill them off!

A character without morals? Let them degrade and kill the character with morals for a bit before they get killed.

I'm very bored of the whole thing. He takes character progression and individual story arc to a point where it's going to be interesting and then just rips it away... I appreciate a writer who doesn't protect characters and doesn't just default to a happy ending.... But the guy is a sycophant or at the very least admires sycophants and I'm tired of how predictable his attempt at being opposite of traditional fantasy.

I get that the story is about the possible end of a world of magic and fairy tales and the possible start of a world of logic and the establishment of greed driven power.... But shit, I have enough of that in the real world.

Personally I think there is a lot of good stuff after black album I know theres a lot who don't but why should they keep trying the same stuff, I think a lot of the stuff people would like if it wasn't released by Metallica.

My guess, she will be degraded beyond recognition... Because she is well liked he won't be happy until she is Raped and in chains. In the end she and her Dragons will die as will the Starks and their Dire Wolves which will effectively bring around the end of the mythical age and usher in the age of Human political progression spearheaded by the absolute most conniving survivors of the assassinations who will plague the land forevermore to ever increasing technological advancement.

It really is like reading about paradise being paved to put up a parking lot.
