Breakfast

My oldest is here this weekend so I did a daddy breakfast of buttermilk pancakes having been inspired by the lovely pics yesterday from Vale-Tudo-Guy. Not bacon in the house so today was Bannana and maple then good old lemon and sugar.

Taking the family to Fawley Hill Vintafe Extravaganza to see the steam engines and lots of other fun stuff. I'll take some pics to show ya later.
Nothing planned to smoke, I've been feeling off the new world stuff the last day or so. Think I need something new. Maybe Cohiba Coronas Especiales for something completely different.

I know right! I do now have some and having missed out this morning have just made a chicken and pancetta salad with lots of different beans and peas. Went down OK.

If you mean maple syrup its stupid money, ?6 a bottle for the decent stuff

I buy a very decent grade A maple from Costco for ?10 per ltr. I promise you its good gear, I used to buy that Buckwood stuff but switch over. Very good and not blended crap.

Costco do the spotted pig bacon for cheap aswell and its very yummy

Yeah. That's what we get, too. The locals know just to get it from small places too. Not the bleeding impossibly expensive tourist bottle prices

I have to say I have knowingly bought the blended stuff before. It pretty OK considering.

Aldi do a decent blended maple syrup of you don't want a giant bottle.

(I do want a giant bottle but space is limited and the other half doesn't like it so...)

I was about to say this, when I plan ahead that's pretty much what I do.... Other times I just buy the small expensive bottles on impulse.
