I can understand Monk shutting it down, but at least he hasn't deleted it like some, which kinda suggests us Brits still have a healthy disrespect of the spurious.

Mind you, closing a thread because of a ten thousand word posting by some wood fetishist with two chainsaws was a bit drastic .... we might have had some fun with that.

The thread was locked for a reason , which means opening another thread for discussion of it is probably the wrong thing to do. When further changes or news comes up we can create another thread if discussion is necessary, until then this can be closed too
