I never got as far as making bacon but I did make lots of biltong....which is frankly the beef version of crack. As for breakfast it's got to be porridge as anything else and I'm starving by 9

It's quite rewarding, I've made Air dried duck breast too which was the most amazing cured meat I've ever eaten. I plan to try making some cured sausages this year. I also find it pretty amazing how eating some of these things changes your taste buds, you can appreciate completely different notes in your smokes depending what you have eaten or had to drink. It's pretty interesting to find out what goes well and what doesn't.
Well I have a few hours to myself this morning, the kids are off to nursery and the Mrs is at work. I'm back from the post office (more details in another thread).
Today was the first morning I wake up without loads of phlegm since what feels like forever... So here goes, this was my first breakfast of the day.
The jam is Homemade Blueberry and Jameson's Whiskey that I make every so often!
Second breakfast is cooking and this Reyes is lovely as ever.
Well I have a few hours to myself this morning, the kids are off to nursery and the Mrs is at work. I'm back from the post office (more details in another thread).
