Its hard plastic and I have some cedar in there to give some wood smell. Am I doing a really bad thing here?

I have new world stuff loose in there and plan to fill it. My only concern is that the cigars may take on a bad chemical smell from the plastic. I chose the box carefully, it seals tight and doesn't have any noticeable smell of its own due to the type of plastic. My hope is that I can use this to keep new world stuff in for now and when I buy another nice big humi I'll keep this for unopened boxed. What do you think? OK or bad idea?

Great looking Tupperware, where did you get it from?

To my mind, stick a boveda in there and your set for a long time of no worry cigar storage.

Don't forget to open it once a week to refresh the air. As Simon wisely pointed out to me, you know what happens to sandwiches left too long in Tupperware,

I ordered it from eBay and really happy with it.

You could get a small humi for that price but this is big enough for maybe 100 sticks or more so...

Good point, it's completely air tight.
