Well I am a computer harware expert and surley can tell you where to get a cheaper iPhone 4S but will think about a freebee of siglo vi.

Thanks for the offers guys, the phone really needs to be a 4S as the project I need it for requires the Dual Core and I really don't want to spend the extra on a 5... Plus, I like the form factor of the 4S.

My brother in law and I are making a short film, in addition to the main recording gear we really need an ultra portable Video/Audio recording rig... Basically with a couple additions the 4S can be made to do more or less exactly what we want for cheaper than other options and without having to carry two separate and larger devices.
