Just finished work, off tomorrow so gotta go & pack. Should be on the Beach by 16:30 & in a bar in ABZ pint & stogey in hand by 1730. Just published Part 3B, hopefully it'll make it more complete than being stranded halfway through that chapter. I know I have repeated the last paragraph but thought it might make more sense to browsers in future, just dipping through the blogs at random.

Just posted Parts 5-7 a& this takes us up to the 26th April, which is this Saturday - Herf day. So we are running effectively on the same time frame as the war. I think this gives a sense of how long things took, ie the journey down there, the actual action & the time hanging around after the surrender & the long journey back home. So will try to follow that again. As I'll be rather busy on Sat published this a little ahead so those travelling via train ect have something to read. Enjoy & look fwd to seeing some of my readers at the herf
