I'm pretty sure you can't actually co own. It has to be registered to the name of the buyer.... And if you ever sell it then there's a $500 fee to change the name of the owner... Even though they lose any warrantee.

In all seriousness, if in 10 or more years the colours started to fade on you picture heavy ?3000k + book due to a currently unknown issue with printing.... Then yeah, I bet you would be wishing you were covered.

Forgetting that he has already made a bunch from his earlier publications, of which the largest amount of work for this latest release was already sitting there waiting for him to transfer it to this book.
If he sold all 2000 pieces at ?3000, which he won't because the vast majority will be ?6000 as we know... But let's forget that for the moment.
Say he is making a 100% markup at ?3000, he will be making much more than that I can assure you... But let's assume he isn't just for now.
that's ?3 Million pounds of profit.
Now let's say it took him 20 years of solid non stop work to produce this work, it didn't and he wasn't exactly working in a coal mine while he was working... But let's forget that for now.
Then he made ?150,000 per year for those 20 years of work.
In reality for this work he will likely be making at least ?4,500 on every full price unit, or ?9 Million pounds = ?450,000 per year for a 20 year period.
And this isn't even considering the fact that he will most likely keep a number of units back for himself to drip feed into the market once the value rockets.
His business plan is sound and I don't think anybody is disputing that fact.
That'd a lot of suppositions Marc.... You can't possibly know what his margins are, how many will sell at full price, how long it took him, how much his outlay was or that he'll keep units back
And honestly, all the best with your purchase. I'm sure you will love and cherish it!
Do you think there is much chance of you getting it at the lower price? Or will you have to stump the full whack?
I hope to feck I can get it for 3K .... No chance I can afford the 6K
I'm going to auction Cohiba Sublimes and DCs to fund it .... Might as well as I can't bring myself to smoke ?100 cigars (I know, I know...1st World problem: my diamond shoes are too tight)

luckily you shouldn't have to sell too many then.
