Last week my wife got a letter from Santander saying that her Debenhams store card has been taken over by a different company and thank you for her business. Today she got a letter from Santander saying they are pleased to have raised her credit limit. Is it any wonder our banks are in crisis?

My Halifax card which I got as a fallback and only took out with ?500 limit around 5 years ago has been regularly put up without my request or authority. It now has over 10x the capacity and yet they think they are doing me a favour?
On top of that, every time I log into internet banking they are offering me loans, it's always between ?11k and ?16k. I have never once shown an interest in a loan.....Licky Licky before Sticky Sticky. - Puff Scotty 22/03/14
