Oh and yep, robbery requires a personal force or threat of force to cause fear. Lol now I'm being a legalistic knob.
At least you don't have to train this stuff and have people scratching their heads on the difference between burglary and robbery. It is a nightmare to exaplain!

Crap when stuff like that happens. Bad news is if they did not just throw the tracker it will be empty of tools and more than likely a few parts as well
agro of your territory being pillaged.... that's the only mishap there i guess.... take a message out of the animal kingdom: Remember to pee on all your possessions, kids!
True mate i have had it in the past were my car was stolen and now my van even though its a company van it feels like mine and someones invaded my privacy
hope that they find your van before those basterds sold all your tools.
But if they dont find it, it will be in Romania in a couple of days I guess.
Sean I will look for your van in August. Send me a picture of it and I will scour Romania for it. On a side note an individual at work was taking my beverages from the fridge and drinking them. After various notes attached to my beverages it still did not stop. I was able to find the indivdual through the use of ipecac. It was very entertaining.

We had a problem with a colleague who would help himself to anyone's ketchup from the fridge until we spiked a bottle with Liquafruta (fruit flavoured laxative) and that seemed to do the trick.

We have the same problem at work as well, except someone keeps taking other peoples' lunch - obviously people shouldn't be doing it but its also a bizarre thing to do as it has someone's name on the label - very strange!
Of course of heroic facilities manager tries to solve the problem by sending an occasional 'food theft is not okay in this office email' and placing signs everywhere with the same message, but with a picture of what is meant to be a burglar but actually looking like a Teenage Mutant Hero Turtle! This has not exactly proven to be the most effective strategy...
