really, i think Putin isn't flexing his guns too hard on this because the west (us) really doesn't care about Ukraine. might be harsh... but there hasn't even been any political mobilisation from the West... i mean, it's all been: "noooo. yank... don't do that. C'mon... don't do that."
so i guess that's why it shouldn't be too much of a conflict. but if the west really wanted to say something, then maybe.......

Its like the build up of the ultra nationalists in Call of duty: modern warfare! I think it will end up with the Crimea becoming separate from the rest of the Ukraine. Hope doesnt all go tits up.

Yep, probably the best outcome. The Ruskies aren't going to loose their warm water port so best let them have it & just try to deter them form pushing fwd to the dividing river that spits the county & could form a natural border if there's a civil spilt in government.
