Beyond my wallet im afraid. I would have dearly loved to have got a Navitimer..... But even at this price its too much, i set myself the goal of getting one before i was 30 but it never happened unfortunately.

I'd love a Navitimer, I've found myself being drawn to the IWC brand recently. Well out of my price range though
SilentBob is quiet no more, name change to VocalBob?
When I joined this site I couldn't stand whisky. Even the smell of it gave me the dry boak . After reading the threads on here and a bit of monkey see, monkey do I have now spent hundreds on it in weeks.
Please stop posting about 10k watches lol
Dry boak!! A phrase I use on a regular basis but seldom see it written down. Cheers, a very descriptive choice of words.
In 1972 my uncle died and left me and my brother the pick of 5 Rolex Watches (1 each). I took a bog standard nice looking plain face, with gold strap, subsequent value ?2-3K. My brother took a Rolex with a Micky Mouse mother of pearl type face & leather strap, subsequent value ?6-7K. He tells me it's still lying in a drawer, but, refused ?35K at recent auction

Yep, the portuguese is the only watch i would have over a navitimer..... But thats beyond anything i will ever be able to afford in my lifetime. Save a lottery win.

You win some, and you loose some
Very nice memento of your Uncle, do you wear yours?
Heres my couple..... Oris arent for everyone, but i reckon pound for pound they offer great value for swiss, well made and at a price point not inflated by collosal brand marketing.
there arr a few on the want list including a patek and a panerai. Would love an early heuer too.... Any really as they were super understated and classy..image.jpg

Thats lovely roy i love watches that are not in your face
Cheers, when I was looking for a watch I came across Hamilton who I hadn't heard of before, turns out Elvis wore their watch at one time and a similar one gets some screen time in the MIB movies. I'm very happy with it.
