Sloe gin bottling day!
Made sloe gin and sloe whisky this year. I find leaving it for a year once bottled mellows it. I don't think the whisky will last that long!

Ageing it is definitely the way to go , it's a beautiful drink

I made a small batch of whiskey last year and enjoyed it more than the gin. So did equal batches this year.

Some French bread
, all washing done kids out playing , ice cold in Alex and a cup of tea while I do the ironing
