  • El Nino

Apart from invading Russia and opening up a new front the Germans don't get much wrong and now a University there has published a report saying that conditions are right for the weather condition known as El Nino this year. That means a long hot summer with lots of outdoor smoking enjoyment. At last, some good news.

If that turns out to be true. Just wait for temperature records to be broken!

Fingers crossed - the winter months are starting to get annoying now (although the weather was lovely on Sunday!)

Hope the water down south is gone before then, can you imagine hot weather, damp stagnant water, millions of midges, and mosquitos!

I thought we had an amazing summer last year!
Flicking back through some pics it looks like it really took a turn for the better the first weekend of June and was good until the end of October!
                    Still seems too far away.

We're bang in the middle of that period, 16 weeks either side.

I agree - I thought we had a great summer as well last year, the best one we had in years

Here's hoping this one is as good!

The climate is so unpredictable at the moment I don't think the fact that it's an El Nino year means anything. Plus, with all the climate change going on some scientists are saying that the effects of El Nino are becoming more extreme so who knows what the hell it will do

If anything like last time it will kill people in Southern Europe sadly.
