i use a mach 3, taylor's of old bond street sandalwood shaving soap....... post shave i use witch hazel as a balm (recommended by a barber), aftershave is czech and speake's frankincense & myrhh or cuba!!!
I shave with whatever the best priced shaving gel is in the shop when I go in to buy it, a gillette fusion blade and whichever moisturiser is closest to hand after I finish
Shaving is one of life's annoyances so I do it as little and as quickly as possible! 😊
I was lucky to get a voucher at christmas for a wet shave at pall mall barbers. Looking forward to that, never had one before. Then on to JJfox for a smoke afterwards!
I've gone through a lot of razors over the years, currently using a Gilette ProGlide which is so-so. The best razor was a Gilette Sensor Excel (3 blades), that worked beautifully and much better than the 5 blade efforts now available.
I'm a bit lazy regarding prep and post shave, sometimes just water/soap and a dab of Nivea after.
Just started to use an old Tamahagane straight I had as a young adult..my wrinkled old face has gone so baggy with weight loss it's the only way to get a decent shave...bit of a bastard 'til I got back in practice, more blood than water in the sink...
