  • iPad cigar apps

Came across a cigar app called cigar boss, it is ok and free, you can add cigars to your online humi to keep track of your collection and add notes pictures and such.

the only problem I found is that a lot of cigars are missing so you have to add them manually.

    anyone recommend a similar app?

I use Cigar Geeks also has a web site etc. don't know if it's any better, just what I use.

also have to add some manually.

+1 for cigar geeks app, only had to add a few manuals and keeps a track of how many days sticks have been in the humis and once smoked if you add a note of when and a review it can be saved and they go into a smoked stick section to refer back to

I used to used cigar boss but also found it had a lot of smokes missing so had to manually add

          might try the cigar geek

I use an app for my wine vivino that is great you just have to scan the wine label on the occasion that it doesn't recognise it they will manually sort it or you can add it your self 5* keep track of your cellar and wine notes all in one place
it's also good if you want some feedback before buying by scanning it in the shop

I never really liked any of the iPad apps, they didn't quite do what I wanted to do

I mentioned in another thread that I setup which I'm really happy with now as it includes everyone I want and if there is anything I want to change or add I can

Sorry I was meant to say I setup a database that I'm really happy with - its made with Filemaker on my Mac and acts as a record of everything I have in my humidors and also as a cigar diary

FileMaker looks nice, but damn expensive, I'll have to try and think of a reason work might need it.

                              It certainly is expensive!

They do a free trial to see what its actually like to use but obviously there are better and more cost effective options if someone is just looking for a cigar diary!
