You may or may not be aware that Credit Card Protection insurance appears to be going the same way as PPI with compensation being paid out. If you have had the forms and read them properly you'll see a line that says that you do not need to engage a third party to pursue your claim, it will be paid out regardless. I have just spoken to an old lady who has had a cold call from a company offering to process her claim for her so the PPI bandits are onto it already. if you have elderly family members please make them aware before they sign away 40% of their compensation needlessly.

Vultures. These companies prey on people like that and bother the rest of us. I hate them

I had just such a call this morning. I asked the charming lady if she was a prostitute and what were her prices. She hung up pretty sharpish.

I agree, but I have also been in the unfortunate financial position where the only way I could put food on the table was to work for an awful cold calling company.

It can get pretty depressing making calls that you know people don't want, only to get abuse anyway.

Luckily I was able to tell them to stick the job up their arse quite quickly.... But still, it's a human being on the other end of the phone. Now don't get me started on the voice recordings that call!
