Depends on the camera. Possible that water could have gotten into the mechanicals (focusing and zoom mechanism if it has one), so could have also caused some problems there. M

Although could just be the aforementioned condensation, in which case you could take up abstract photography ;-)

Ive never tried it myself, but as an aside, i believe it is worth a try rescuing damp electronics by placing in a bag or tupperware with some rice alongside... I imagine thats the principle of the rescue bag cigarmo has sent.
