  • So how do you cheer yourself up?...

Not writing this from the pit of despair.
    Genuinely interested.

SO HOW DO YOU CHEER YOURSELF UP?

I take two things as read, so let's not mention them in this one, please:

    • Cigars - We all know we do it a lot, and we have our own preferences with whatever whenever
    • Sex - We all know we do it a lot, and we have our own preferences with whatever whenever

    You start.

I love to watch smart comedy such as Frasier, Arrested Development, Alan Partridge, League of Gentlemen, Blackadder, 30 Rock.....and some not so smart such as Bottom, Young Ones, Peep Show

Playing guitar (badly) also relaxes and cheers me up....I can lose myself for hours sitting at my PC with my axe browsing for music TAB...one song reminds me of another and off I go on the search for another song which will make me think of another.......

Plus, you can't beat a good Sherman for releasing the serotonin

      Boing!

      Sherman, already.

OK. Full agreement there, and I join you as an avid practitioner.
And as it helps one avoid cancer, allegedly, we should all fully support it.

      NEXT!

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Thoroughly recommend a Cigar competition with three lovely pyramids as a prize, Robusto.

Good entertainment all round and lifts the spirits of the forum members hopefully.

                Works for me!

Packing 30 of my finest puros in my traveldor and heading for the Cayman Islands.

That usually does it for me.

But what the hell do I know???

After all, I'm TJ, TJCoro, a simple hombre from Mexico on my way to the warm and sunny state of mind, Cayman!

Life is generally busy. I like comedy stuff, like Stevieboy, but I also like really bad TV - like soaps - when I'm tired.

Most of the time is spent tinkling on the piano, or trying to work out how to use software. I'm more someone who plays that someone who tries to work out programs, to be honest, but I was recording something on the day our dog became ill. My son was trying out some things on Nuendo and we chucked a very imperfect take into the machine. We like to arse around like this, and usually warm up with some blues before writing a quick concerto.

I can hear a thousand imperfections in this. Especially my organ/piano C chords and G chords which clash more than once. I'd edit those away if it was worth it.

When you hear the vocalist, you'll know the track is beyond redemption. Beyond critique. Beyond reproach.

                        Praise The Lord.

                        So.

Because my dog was called Max, this is dedicated to him from Olly and me.

                        Aye thang yew.

lol 12 bar to the max is amazing!!! Great stuff! Loving it Bry,

Reminds me a little of something jazzy/blues like John Martyn's (The Easy Blues) Jelly Roll Blues.
