My take is the country destabilized and now you blame the UN for trying to help after 100,000 have been killed without any help. I don't want another war, but also don't want to see the innocent killed by waring factions.

If 2 groups of people want to kill each other, thats cool. But if others die as a consequence then something needs doing.

As was probably inevitable I think we should close this thread now.

Experience has taught us (many times) that some subjects are just too challenging for a plain txt debate. This is one for face to face with a beer and a cigar. Without the understanding of facial expressions and tone of voice this can only be an unpleasant debate.

Nb-some cigar forums have actually banned discussion on forgien policy politics. Not us, but I think we understand why.
