Any good websites? Apparently beaches in Fife up here in Bonny Scotland can be pretty good for this. Is the kit expensive? Sorry for all the questions but it seems like a good thing for me and the family...speaking of which, how old would the kids need to be?
It would suit you just fine Stevie, you sound like me: middle-aged and unfit!! You build up the muscles though in the places you need them (if you know what Am saying sweetie). Must say though, these kites do tug and it takes some building up to the larger ones, which then depends on wind conditions: larger kite for less wind in traction theory. Too big and you're fuggin gone! Saying that, some like it that way...up up and away for freestyle tricks and stuff.
Fife eh, my mother has family in Kirkaldy still I think. I used to travel to Ladybank every year when I was a kid with me grampy!
Costs? Starting kite would be about 50-100. Kids can start as early as you like, but the kite needs to be appropriate in size. It would be helpful to get something like a two string HQ Symphony Beach, 1.2M, but not too windy a day. ?40? Age? How longs a...? Supervised, low wind, small kite, it is difficult to say. Probably best to speak to a supplier TBH.
