  • What Band(s) would you like to see reform?

Robooooooosto's Kajagooooogoooo post has made me think about what decent band's I would like to see reformed.

    Rule 1
I don't think I have ever seen a reformation that hasn't been more about money that music so I have to say I would rather these don't happen.

    My list are:

    1. The Jayhawks (rule 1 does not apply)
    2. The Flamin Groovies
    3. The New Seekers

    Can we have dead people?

    If so

    The "proper" line ups of

    Queen
    The Who
    Led Zepplin
    The Spiders From Mars

and on a technically possible front

    Abba

              Crowded House

I really rate Neil Finn and have seen him twice in concert solo. I never saw Crowded House. Their music helped me climb up from a significant low about twelve years ago. I've been asked to consider joining some good musos to make a tribute to Crowded House and tour Scotland - so there may be cigars at the various stage doors if it comes off, you clan members.

That seems silly - but it's true.

I really hope it comes off, Nic. I like to play in more than one genre. I like variety. In the long hols, I will write some more of my own stuff. I wish I felt more driven, but the unavoidable crap of life routine stops special moments happening.

I've marked 100+ of 500. I'm on schedule, but I'd like wild non-stop sex more, you know.
Instead I'm off to press the PLAY button and mark on whilst smoking myself rabid.

Wow, that's some serious long hall, I had no idea it went on that long.

Red cross parcel in the post this weekend.

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Dude! One of my all time faves as well. Amazingly they're still touring and releasing with some other guy on vocals

I'd love to see UFO with Schenker

                        Soundgarden too

This thread could run and run.

I would live to see the original Byrds.

I saw an American band play at Dingwalls a couple of years ago and they played a Byrds track 12 string Rickenbackers and all and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up it was a wierd feeling, I think I know what it would have been like to be there maaaaan

Here's a man who can write wonderful melodies.
I read somewhere reputable that he's a cigar aficionado, too.
I saw Prefab Sprout in their heyday. Brilliant gig.

                              These won't get back together.
                              Thank God for Ian Brown.
My best ever gig - Ian Brown.
Violence in the air - and fantastic music.
