i'm less surprised but disappointed. it was about his dad, too. ah well, we all have free choice. and i choose to banish that track from my mind and ears!
honestly, The Final Cut was conceived out of Water's urge to be a complete asshole. but i do enjoy the conflicting political messages that continuously battle in the album. and the fact that his dad isn't mentioned once

I've got the original vinyl from when it was launched.... Probably in the attic somewhere. Still love it to this day. An unsung masterpiece

Did you like the film? There are some great re-recordings on there such as MOTHER and YOUNG LUST. Great stuff

It stars Bob Geldoff no less, its not bad but I would choose listening to the album over watching the film every time
