Went into Brighton and ended up leaving about 1pm as it was settling there - unheard of really! Took me 3x as long to get home than normal, which for British Rail is almost a miracle :P
Got home to about 4-6 inches (fnar) which hasn't moved since - same level apparently heading our way tomorrow afternoon.
I'm staying put and may venture outside for a cigar as I've only had one since NYE! Fecking cold though!
Here in the Midlands we had a bit which hasn't really impeded getting about. Main roads are good with some of the side roads being a bit iffy. Work sent us home early yesterday as it was falling quite heavily. With the three or four inches we had, I enjoy driving and had made sure I'd a stick for schmoking on the way home.
the thing is the Mrs has had to walk to work so not happy, now they have all totally messed the house up, guess who she will blame when she gets in.........me!
and for a bonus point, guess who will be smoking outside tonight?????
