lol, not sure how much they get paid, i suspect not much. They do seem to enjoy though, probably imagining the grass is a pile of white mens necks.

No problem here, we have white, yellow, brown, and black people. All are equally respected and all are happy to acknowledge the differences, culturally there are many, but it just adds to the mix. Interestingly the local population are also different shades of brown/black they seem to have no problems with this, have only been here 4 months, but the lack of "colour/racial" differential is one of the things i have enjoyed. Here you really can call a spade a spade, and nobody takes offence.

As it should be...pity we had to go past that stage in the UK & now Robertson's Golly is seen as racist... the marmalade was sold in Cape Town years ago & nobody cared....

Was in Cape Town just before Christmas, fantastic city, if you have money. Have never seen such contrast`s in life style, the thing that i found really odd though was tin shacks in Townships with satelite dishes on the roofs. Apparantly about 10% of the white population in CT also live in Townships, a sign of things to come.

Thought the clue was in the sub forum title ; "off topic" chat, this is a cigar forum so "off topic" could easily include grass cutting, or anything else other than cigar specific subjects.
