i think i hate my computer!

Got a new computer last week, im trying to upload some photos of some cigars and a book I want to trade and its impossible (don't say nothing is impossible have you ever tried to shove a turd back up with a balloon whisk!) ill have to wait till my kids come back from trick or treating (aka legalised begging) they always know what to do. THEY MAKE ME FEEL SO OLD

got the pictures onto the desktop (cant find my pictures file) but they wont transfer here, its windows 8 and very new to me im used to using xp, I think ill leave it till tomorrow man u kicks off in 5 mins

Ah windows 8, tried it on my laptop the other day. Lasted about half an hour before I formatted and went back to win 7.

I'm sure on a touch screen device it would be fine, but I found it very cumbersome on a regular laptop.

my new computer is touchscreen and its still horrible!! (kids can use it fine though)

got my comp for a great price an acer it has 8gig memory 1tb hard drive, 23" touchscreen, with Microsoft office student (the one that does 3 pcs) all for ?420, it was cheap because it has windows 7 they gave a free upgrade to windows 8. but that's all well and good but I still cant use the bloody thing!

Me too...just last weekend. I braved Vista a few years ago and found it to be shee-ite. A week later I was back on XP.

Loving Win7 though :thumbup:

Yep xp is great, but 7 is really good these days. Especially if you want to run a 6 core CPU with 16 gig of ram
