Against all the odds Europe fought back to beat the USA 14 1/2 to 13 1/2 in the Ryder Cup they did Seve proud and i'm sure Jiminez is smoking one of his favorite Cohibas about now. Ive had to celebrate with some fine Whisky before turning in. Well done the lads.

I'm not that into golf though. Any sport that requires 2 hands to play means you can't do it while holding a smoke.

Great watching. The US lost it on the 17th and 18th, so many of them just seemed to bottle it. Of course, the Europeans winning their first 5 matches yesterday shifted the balance.

I just love the Ryder Cup.

I didn't miss a minute of the tv coverage.
It was one of, if not the most amazing sporting events I have seen.
Suddenly 45000 USA supporters were silent and 3000 Europeans were making a lot of noise.
