Hi Guys,

I forgot to post an update.

I sent my email to the Director on Monday morning as requested. I had to speak about my views on the role and the company.

He left me a voicemail that lunch time, saying he was very impressed and they would like to progress things.

He has asked me to go in today at 2:30 to spend an "hour or two with the team"

It's looking promising!

Hi All,

I was there about 3 hours in the end and got on really well with the team, I spoke to the Director again afterwards and he said he would let me know today.

Another agonising wait over the weekend... but it was worth it

I have been offered the job this morning, so I am just about to write my letter of resignation.

I've waited a long time for this. Lots of rum and cigars on the cards tonight!

Aye, many congrats! Inertia is what keep smost of us in our regular job & the hard ecomonic times, last in first out is all the excuse most of us need to stay put. Give it a fair try, sounds like your fit in fine.
